Description The data set contains Greenland-wide daily melt extent/stage maps (presence of liquid water) from 2007 until 2021 derived from the ASCAT Enhanced Resolution Image Reconstruction (SIR) product. Additionally, based on the melt maps, the annual melt onset, end of the melt season and melt duration are also provided. Changes to version 01: Improved gap filling by considering the boundary values and categorizing them in the sequence of the melt cycle.

Description This dataset contains an annual ice velocity map of the Greenland Ice Sheet derived from Sentinel-1 data acquired from 2019-10-01 to 2020-09-30. The ice velocity is provided at 250 m grid spacing in North Polar Stereographic projection (EPSG: 3413). Provided is a NetCDF file with separate layers for the velocity components: vx, vy, vz, along with maps showing the magnitude of the horizontal components, the valid pixel count and uncertainty. This dataset was produced for the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S).
